On April 11th, 2025, during the Salone del Mobile, the award ceremony for the 9th edition of the Riva1920 Design Awards took place at the prestigious ADI Design Museum in Milan.

About the Award & Event
The Riva1920 Design Award celebrates craftsmanship, material culture, and contemporary product design. On April 11th, 2025, during Salone del Mobile, the 9th‑edition award ceremony was held at the prestigious ADI Design Museum in Milan, honoring projects capable of uniting form, meaning, and responsible innovation.
Design Highlights of the NOT TOO LATE Bench
NOT TOO LATE is crafted entirely from solid cedar wood. The bench depicts a polar bear emerging from the material, with the lower portion shaped like water—a powerful, visually compelling metaphor for climate change and its consequences. Balanced proportions are combined with sculptural softness, so the wood seems to “melt” into its environment while offering real comfort and durability.

This work goes beyond furniture: it blends art, nature, and awareness into a single design statement.
